There were white bits of fluff falling from the sky! It covered the ground, the porch, and the trees. I asked Mama Monkey if the monkey gods were brushing their hair and if the white stuff was their dandruff. Mama Monkey laughed and told me that the white stuff was snow. I asked her what snow was. She told me that we don’t normally get a lot of snow, it only happens when it gets really cold outside. The rain turns to white fluff because of the temperature. She said I could go outside and play in it after lunch.
The snow was so cold! I really liked it. I liked throwing clumps of snow at my friends. I am really good at it. I did get hit with a few of them myself. After a while, I became really cold. I was not as reluctant to go inside as it seemed when Mama Monkey called me indoors. I like the snow, but don’t like that I get so cold so quickly. I am hoping we get more snow, this way we can build a snow fort and hide in there.
