To those who gave their lives so that we could be free, THANK YOU! Thank you for preserving our right to be free, our right to speak what is on our minds, and the right to be silly! XOXOXOXOXO
I am really glad that I am fuzzy. Sometimes being fuzzy isn't good, like when it gets hot in the summer. But this spring, it's been so rainy and damp, that it feels like summer will never come around. Mama Monkey promised me that summer will return, but I don't know. I think the rain is jealous of the sun and decided to take over for a while. At least the plants in Mama Monkey's garden are growing well.
It is a rainy, chilly day here so I ended up having to play inside. Coco Monkey was able to come over, so we decided to create spells like the ones they have in Fuzzy Hopper. I had a hard time with this until I realized I had gas. I created a spell called ALACAFART. I said the word and then passed gas. I guess this spell causes really smelly ones cause Coco Monkey was chased from the room. Now I am going to see if I can actually summon them and use them against Little Ape when he picks on me.
I just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to the best Mom ever, Mama (Myrtle) Monkey. Sienna Monkey, Coco Monkey's mom runs a close second. They let us get away with just enough nonsense and step in just before we stumble into disaster. We love you!
Last night I had a REALLY scary dream. I dreamt that there was a monster under my bed. All I could see was creepy orange eyes peering up at me when I peeked over the edge of the bed. I woke up and it was still dark. I threw my covers over my head and then didn’t move a muscle and listened to see if I could hear anything that I normally would not hear in my room at night.
I did not hear any strange sounds, but I was too scared to do anything, until I heard Miss Spider calling me. I carefully poked my head out of the covers and saw that she was hanging above me from a web attached to the ceiling. She told me that she and the other spiders would look out for me and warn me if a monster came. That was good, but I thought of another good idea. I was thinking about it as I fell asleep again.
When I got up in the morning, I put my books, toys, and some other stuff on the floor around my bed, this way I will have a fighting chance if one actually shows up. I figured if the monster gets tripped up by all the stuff around the bed, I would be able to jump from my hammock and run out the door. Miss Spider agreed that it was a good idea too. Now I just have to keep Mama Monkey distracted so she doesn’t complain about the clutter on the floor.
