As we were walking, I heard this strange rumble-croak sound and I immediately looked around for the source of the sound, but I didn't see anything. Uncle Titian asked us "Who stepped on the frog?" Aunt Fuchsia looked at Uncle Titian funny but didn't say anything. I was still looking around for frogs when I heard a quieter sound. I saw a bird fly away and Uncle Titian laughing. Aunt Fuchsia just shook her head and told me to walk with her.
I have no idea where the frogs were and who stepped on them. I hope they're okay. Aunt Fuchsia said not to worry myself over it and I'd figure it out later, whatever that meant. That reminds me though that it is time to start looking for frogs. I'm hoping to find some of the teeny, tiny baby frogs soon. I can't wait to look for them on the riverbank tomorrow at dusk!
