This morning I snuck a sandwich before Mama Monkey woke up. I was so hungry that I took a really big bite. Too late, I realized that I bit off more than I could possibly chew. I spit out some of the sandwich into the trash, but the bread was stuck to the roof of my mouth. I tried to dislodge it with my finger, but it was stuck on there like glue!
I ran to Mama Monkey's room and burst through the door. Mama Monkey looked startled and asked why I'd woken her up. I tried to tell her that the bread was stuck to the roof of my mouth, but she didn't understand me at first. As soon as she did, she asked me why I didn't take my finger to try to loosen it. I said I did. She told me to use water to loosen it or scrape it off with a tooth brush and then she started to laugh. I got mad and left the room. It took a while, but I was finally able to loosen the bread with a lot of water. I'll take small bites from now on.
Mama Monkey and I are going to be visiting family over the holidays and want to wish you a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, and a Happy Kwanzaa. If we've missed your holiday, we apologize and wish you a very happy day. We will be back Tuesday.
I had a great day today! School is out and Uncle Red, Grandma, and Grandpa are here! I got lots of great gifts and I had a great time! I remember when Fuzztastic finally joined the family. Here's a picture of last Yule! I hope everyone has a great holiday!
I got in trouble this week at school because I couldn't wait until the holiday break. Mr. Howler sent a letter home on Monday to Mama Monkey because he said I was being unruly. I couldn't help it though! I was just excited to decorate. Mama Monkey said that she was disappointed in me, and that made me very sad. Especially because she found out I had to sit out in the hall for a few minutes so the class could calm down. I am glad that we made the decorations on the weekend so all we had to do was decorate the house and the tree. I hope everyone has a great holiday and we'll talk to you soon!
I went to visit Uncle Titian and Aunt Fuchsia after school today. Uncle Titian has a tiny freezer in his office. I looked in it hoping there was a snack I could sneak because there wasn't anything good in the pantry.
When I opened the door, there was in interesting package inside. I couldn't tell what it was at first, so I had to take it out and open it. I figured it was something really good, because it was shoved all the way in the back, but I was terribly wrong. As I began to peel open the package, I saw fur! That was when I screamed and dropped the package.
Uncle Titian came in and said that would teach me not to snoop where I shouldn't. He said he had forgotten all about that old moldy food from the refrigerator that he froze so it wouldn't stink up the house. He made me dig a hole so we could bury the food under the ground and then gave me a cookie for a snack. I will remember never to snoop in his freezer again!
